Instructions how to combine progressive overload with reverse dieting to attain permanent weight loss
Hi, this is Esther speaking, and I’m planning on replacing all
“Shakespeare” classes (and any other nonsense) taught in
school, with classes on how bad of an idea it is to go on a diet.
Oh how I wish I would have been taught in elementary / high school that
going on a “diet” is actually taking me FARTHER from my fitness goals. Did
you know that over 97% of dieters gain all the weight back, plus more? Do
you know why? B/c when they go on a diet they’re not just losing body fat,
but also lean muscle tissue. Which greatly slows down their metabolism.
Before I paint a grey picture about what happens to the vast majority of
women who go on diets, let me paint a rosy picture of what the world is
going to look like after my message gets out, B’ezras Hashem.
So here goes: go get your pink rosy glasses and take a look at your
roommate Shifra after she takes this mini-course.
She’s eating around 2,500/3000 calories a day (that’s a LOT of food by the
way, try it!),
and she’s even allowed to have treats that she loves (chocolate, pizza, etc.)
[80% good food, 20% treats].
She is doing a half hour of resistance training (strength training) 3 or 4 times
a week, to build up her muscle.
Which makes her metabolism skyrocket (i.e. she can eat a ton of food
without gaining weight, b/c muscle burns the food at an accelerated rate
around the clock [even when she’s not working out]),
causing her energy levels to be through the roof (she feels like tackling the
next mountain),
her hormones and cycles are regulated and healthy,
and she’s slim and looks amazing in her clothes.
And here’s a big secret: the number on the scale didn’t go down for her (and
maybe even went up),
but she went down several dress sizes.
This is because muscle is a lot more dense than body fat,
so having a higher percentage of muscle vs body fat will make her look super
lean (even though the number on the scale is the same).
And this is a lifestyle she can sustain long term (for the rest of her life
B’ezras Hashem),
b/c she’s never hungry and feels amazing (she’s eating a LOT, remember?).
And I didn’t even touch on all the health benefits of building muscle:
it is the best effort you can do to heal and prevent a LONG list of serious
illnesses, like diabetes and cancer.
Having little muscle is connected to brain disorders, heart disease, cancer,
osteoporosis, and thyroid issues to name a few.
OK, and now for the grey picture of what her life looked like before joining
our program.
She is eating 1200 calories a day, (or even as low as 500 calories a day,
EEEK!!!!)
feeling weak and exhausted all the time,
and constantly having a strong urge to “binge” (eat the entire pan of French
fries) b/c she is so hungry.
She spends an hour a day running long distance or going on the elliptical,
and even joins Zumba classes and engages in high intensity cardio exercises.
She’s hoping this will help with weight loss, but is frustrated by that
stubborn number on the scale not budging (or going in the wrong direction).
Her cycles and hormones are irregular, and she is even suffering from
headaches.
And although she initially lost 30 pounds when she went on her first “diet”,
she gained it all back plus more [this happens to over 97% of dieters by the
way].
And when she tried to go on a diet again: it was much harder to lose weight
than the first time, and she regained even more weight.
This is because when she ‘dieted’ - half the weight lost was lean muscle (and
half body fat) which slowed her metabolism down to a crawl.
[This is called “yo-yo dieting” (lose weight gain weight, lose weight gain
weight), and I’ve been there and done that (I learned the hard way)].
But with Hashem’s help she found my program and learned she can undo all
the damage she had caused to her body over all those years.
Through reverse dieting (slowly increasing her food intake to rebuild her
metabolism, and maximizing Protein) while strength training,
she has repainted her life with that rosy picture we started with,
and is happier and more full of life than ever before.
So here’s the big question: WHY!!!!!
Why don’t they educate girls in school on these vital concepts!
Do you have any idea how rampant this plague is among girls and women
(thinking they need to diet to lose weight, or even worse: take pills, shots, or
get surgery C"V)!
Don’t you think this is a bit more practical information than Shakespeare (or
all the other nonsense they need to learn)?
How many eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, etc.) could be prevented if
only they could just be educated!
The source of all these problems is purely lack of knowledge: most people
are CLUELESS in these concepts (strength training and reverse dieting).
I was too, and it took me 5 years (and thousands of hours of research, while
working with over 150 clients) for me to gain the knowledge base I have
now.
What I’m telling you here is not a deep secret that only I conjured up.
But rather it is well known among fitness professionals.
For the past 5 years I have worked with over 150 women helping them
transform their lives and achieve results they never would have dreamed of.
Ladies that have gotten surgery to remove fat, ladies that have “yo-yo”
dieted their whole life and kept coming back to square one (or worse).
I have had the zechus to help get women off of high blood pressure
medication; and have helped women have more children
(strength training while eating more regulates your hormones making you
more fertile. This has happened with several of our clients: they became
pregnant on our program after a large gap from their last child).
In this mini course, I am handing you on a silver platter all of the knowledge I
gained from the last 5 years of coaching over 150 women in my one-on-one
$12,000/year coaching program (Shine Mama Fit).
All of the knowledge that you’ll need to B’ezras Hashem succeed in reaching
you fitness goals: are contained in this course.
So you’ll ask:
why am I giving away so much for $99?
The truth is that I am in the middle of building this material into a $2,500
course
(to replace the 1 on 1 coaching program I’ve done till now).
But it’ll take me some time prettying up the content with a fancy portal and
stunning graphics, before I can sell it for that price point.
In the meantime however, you can enjoy all of this AMAZING value for just
$99!
Thanks Esther!! Loving all this education btwI love when u post articles, podcasts etc. Totally bombard us with the education piece btw. I love it and I’m sure others do too! It’s very reassuring to know that this is a LONG process. And yes im totally working towards 3000 calories. Never in my life thought I’d say this!! My 74 year old grandmother who has been going to a nutritionist for years almost fainted when I told her this. Go explain!! LolI personally appreciate learning about the science behind this process. So pls share the info!! Thanks! One nutritionist I went to once told me not to do any strength training cuz the scale gona go up. She only let me do cardio. She also had me eat like 1100 calories or something and she told me that’s “a lot of food!!” And then she yelled at me cuz I ate an extra bite of rice and shnitzel and she told me I’m going down a slippery slope cuz I’m eating too much and I’m sliding into Maintenance. And wait! She told me that she never works out. Only during her pregnancies. Cuz exercise makes her hungry. But when she’s pregnant she’s scared to gain so she goes on the treadmill every day. I could go on and on!! I was seriously scarred from her. And she calls herself a nutritionist! What in the world. She the fact that I’m aiming for 3000 calories would blow her mind. And she has a very busy practice🙈 I had lost 20 pounds by her but gained it all back within 7 months
GM, Went to the dr Friday, been fighting a ‘cold’ since YT but since getting worse, I finally went to check it out. Sinus infection and BH antibiotics are helping. But what I’m getting at is when I waited in the room for the dr after the assistant took my vitals, I put on the bulking podcast (3x😬) and walked back and forth (for steps) while listening. All I could think of while hearing it is that everyone I know has to hear what they’re saying!!! I want to publicize it to the world!! I feel like we’re living in an alternate universe where they’ve been pushing garbage at us to make us think we’ll lose weight or look better but it’s all been lies. THIS is what we need! On another note, just want to say that in the past my BP has been a little high. It doesn’t run in the family and I’m not obese so never really understood how or why. Was trying to stay focused and relaxed when they took my bp Friday and BH was perfect:) The only thing I can think of that changed is that I joined SMF, so thank you @Esther.HeadCoach !!Btw, the main reason I signed up initially was for my diastasis recti, but I’ve gained so much more! So happy I joined BH:)
Today I had one of my best days ever! Back in February, I won a $2,000 gift certificate to a high end women’s wear store from Bonei Olam Chinese auction. Instead of being thrilled, I was a bit upset. I had purchased a prize package of one raffle in every prize to support a friend of mine that was selling raffles, and promptly forgot about it. I never win anything anyway lol. However, now that I actually won, couldn't it have been jewelry, or a vacation, or even the segway that my kids are begging for? I was at my fattest point, hated my body, was still wearing my maternity skirts even if my baby was 7 months old, and the last thing I needed was a ladies wear shopping spree! However, I realized maybe Hashem is trying to send me a message that I gotta get hold of myself and put myself first and take care of my weight and myself a bit. A little after that, I found Shine Mama Fit and jumped straight into it with all my willpower, even if I wasn't sure I could do it. I made a pact with myself to save my gift certificate for when I lose weight. Anyway, fast forward to today, not even 6 months later, and I realized that I need a full new winter wardrobe bH! So I took myself on a shopping spree, and picked up lots of pretty stuff, so many options in my size! I spent nearly the whole amount of my gift card! I feel like I’m on cloud 9! I can’t stop thanking Hashem for the huge prize of opening my eyes to take care of myself! I really got my energy and my body back!
Something interesting happened yesterday, I went to try gowns for my sisters wedding, and I realized I’m a half size down since September (when already I lost the 37 lbs) ! I needed a smaller size than 2 mos ago! Interesting cuz my measurements hasn’t really changed but I was trying the same dresses (not style, same pcs) n as my drop dead gorgeous 18 yr old sister!.(Ok she’s taller than me n naturally has broader shoulders but we were trying the same exact stuff). This is During my reverse diet when I have been eating MORE every week!
I had a really gratifying moment yesterday. I stepped onto the scale holding my 3 year old daughter. Lo and behold, our combined weight was my starting weight! I know how much I have lost so far, but visualizing the number as the amount that an average 3 year old weighs made me realize how significant it is!
Meanwhile, I’m on a real high! I just came home from my sisters wedding it was such an amazing night! I almost feel like I married off my own child! I hope I don’t sound vain, but I really enjoyed dressing up for the wedding like I didn’t in years! I. So grateful to hashem for guiding me to SMF and giving me my health, my energy and my body back!
@everyone I’ve been so super busy this week making Pesach, shopping, dental appointments for 4 kids, plus some other big projects. I’ve been going from task to task and amazingly I don’t feel exhausted! So much energy I almost feel like I’m on steroids! Thank you, smf!
I met someone who I haven’t seen in 2 yrs by vort last week. She couldn’t get over how good I looked. First she wanted to know if I’m living on grass and pills (hahahaha). Then I shared with her That I was actually a size smaller already. She’s asked me if I’m not devastated and I surprised myself by answering that I’m working on strength and building my metabolism for long term results and it’s part of the ride. Everything you’ve said is penetrating somewhere!
Pp- I went to set up our summer rental. I rearranged all the furniture BY MYSELF! I had so much energy to do all that heavy lifting!
My husband commented how much more energy I have since I started the program.
My sweat shirt from when I was a dorm counselor in Bais Yaakov in Denver in 1985 (That’s My High School size, 3 sizes down, haven't been this size for years!!)
Took out my winter clothes from last year 3 garbage bags don't fit!
If I wasn’t so shy I’d share my first picture from day 1 but I’d rather not. I feel great! Wearing a shirt that I haven’t won in a long while has really helped me!! Seeing the progress! I went down at least a size and half. Maybe 2. You should be proud!!! Good work Esther!
I started March 1. I’ve lost about 15lbs but definitely slimmed down more than just from pounds. My clothes fit better than ever. I try not to obsess over the scale number. It’s hard. But I feel amazing! I’m stronger than ever and have definitely lost inches! I noticed the difference in the way I felt right away! In my clothes after about 2 months of faithful workouts and pretty good nutrition.
I tried on a shirt today that I did not wear last summer because it was too tight. I forgot about it and decided to try it. I was so excited that it fit!! And actually my daughter said “it looks a little big”. At work they have commented on how I look thinner. So the shirt must be big!
@C.Z. good for you! You look like your kids sister, and have energy like a teenager! I think Shine Mama Fit is the fountain of youth!
@R.Z. @S.R. I had something similar yesterday. I was holding my one year old after the bath and my (very big and heavy) 3 year old wanted to go in next. So I just scooped him up with one hand while holding my baby. I was shocked at how easy it was. He really didn't feel heavy to me with one hand! He weighs at least 40lbs. It was a great moment of success for me! 4 months ago I would have had to put the baby down and pick my other one up with both hands!
C. Z.
@everyone Btw when i came to eretz yisroel last week to visit my daughter who just had twins she said "Ma you look great!" Of course she needed to know my "diet". When i told her about smf she said "now thats a sensible way to eat!" If you would know my daughter you would know she doesnt flatter. If she compliments she means it!
@everyone Guess what? Another wedding b”H! My nephew got married last night! I got a lot of nice compliments. Besides the good feeling I really feel b”H a lot of energy! I felt like a teenager with all my energy and danced up a storm!
@everyone Hi! I just got back from another wedding. I wore a different wedding dress than last night and got such nice comments! It feels sooo good! B”H! I said I didn’t lose weight only inches. (I even gained a couple lbs). But who needs to lose weight, I’d much rather lose inches! Wouldn’t you?
@everyone I had a wedding last night and wore something that I haven’t worn in a while. I felt sooo comfortable! It looked better and felt better than the last time I wore it. Mind you I just wen up a lb but I got firmer, stronger and in better shape! TY Esther and crew!
I was having pains before I started this beautiful program and I actually went to a neurologist to get to the bottom of the pain. The Dr. gave me stretches to do and told me that if I just lost like 10 lbs it might help. I have a slight pinched nerve. B”H Being on Esther’s program with all the stretching exercises - the pain is GONE!
Guy yur! I hope everyone fasted well! @Esther I think I need to give you credit for having more energy and stamina in shul today! I usually have a hard time standing the whole ne’ila this year I was able to! What an accomplishment!
@everyone What a wow day I had b”H! I had my wonderful playgroup from 9-3. Then I put supper in the oven and walked to a far supermarket that is very well priced. I did my weekly shopping and then walked home! I was even offered a ride home and refused cause I wanted my steps. I came home and went out to the avenue for something else. Again, I was offered a ride and refused. Not only did I walk, I practically ran! With sooo much energy B”H! I just feel sooo good and accomplished! Ty Esther and Staff!
This week I bought some new clothes. They fit so much better. And I feel really good about it. Then I cleaned my closet and got rid of so many clothes that are too big, too small or just out of style. Feels good to have things to wear that look right and it will keep me on track because I got rid of the clothes that were too big!
@everyone Today was my first day of midwinter break. I went to the shoe store in boro park where i usually go to once a year. The owner was shmoozing with me and then suddenly asks me what my name is. I told her and she said "I thought it was you but you lost tons of weight! I mean really alot! I told her it wasnt much weight but alot of inches. She said "What?" I also went to my favorite dress store on the ave and she said "my do you look good!" TYSM Esther and staff!!
“Yesterday I finished the 5 gallon water bottle from the water cooler. Usually i wait for my husband to come home to flip another 5 gallon. I figured lets see if i can do it?! And guess what?! It didnt feel sooo heavy!! Ty SMF!”
@everyone I had a nephews bar mitzvah tonight in lkwd. A cousin i hadnt seen in a while said "Oh my you look amazing!" Such a great feeling! It makes all the hard work worth it! Ty SMF!
@everyone The weather was b"h glorious this shabbos! I put on my summer robe and it was literally hanging on me! What a great feeling! Remember i didnt loose much i even gained but it must mean muscle weight cause my size and inches went down but my weight even went up a drop. Ty SMF!
@everyone This past shabbos i wore a very pretty top that i didnt feel comfortable wearing all winter. I tried it on and it felt good. Then i asked my neighbor for her opinion and shes brutally honest. She told it looks good and i got so narrow and slender. Im sure its the lifting! Esther TYSM!
Bh just had our barmitzva. So glad I’m part of this program, my dress fit perfectly and honestly it’s been so long since I felt this good! I started after succos, my goal was 40 lbs but after talking with Esther and working with her team I realized I wanted much more than just weight loss I want to feel healthy and strong, I realized it’s a different mindset, bh I’ve lost 8lbs so far and I’m in it for the long term goals.. I know it’s gotta be slow and steady for it to last.Thank you!
I just wanted to let you know that my swim today was so different, what I mean by that is I usually get so tired, but I have tons of energy in my upper arms and it was so much easier, never felt that way before swimming
Talking about chasunas, by my cousin’s chasuna last week, all my daughters came along (except those who were on a late night in camp), while I was dancing, I held my youngest, Rivka - 2 ka”h, through most of first dance. I was amazing how easy it was to hold her - felt so much stronger! And normally after holding her in this fashion after a simcha, my arm is so charley horse, but after this wedding, no effect at all! Thank you Hashem and thank you Shine Mama Fit!
Tonight, my 9 year old daughter asked me to hold her (she was tired and was in the mood of being held) - I carried her all the way upstairs for bedtime ( I used to not be able to do that - definitely not with a 9 year old!). When I put her down, she gave me a big hug and she said “You’re so strong Mommy, because you’re a Shine Mama Fit Mommy.” Loved it!
Only started yesterday and guess what? I slept better last night and already feel more energetic today. If it wasn’t such a scorcher, I’d try for a long walk now!
I noticed a difference in my stamina/strength today. Usually when I go swimming, I wish I can join the women who shmooze while doing laps. Whenever I tried to, I would find myself physically behind the conversation. Today I found that I kept outstripping the conversations. (This was the first time this summer that I tried)
when my 2 year old asked me to make her a ride “until the ceiling” I was able to lift her high countless times for over 15 minutes. (Though when my 7 year old asked if I can do the same for her, I couldn’t lift her as high). Immediately afterwards I began to clean up from shabbos and had so much energy!
Just wanted to share that I had a wedding Sunday night and got a lot of compliments!
It was very nice to get all the compliments on how much weight I lost. I get comments and calls all the time asking about I am doing…. Thank you Esther!
Reporting in after my son’s chasunah. Boruch Hashem it was amazing and beyond description gorgeous and special. My hard work showed itself and everyone wanted to know what I did to achieve my goal. I tell everyone about SMF. Thank you, Esther!
I did a photoshoot for my 30th anniversary! Thank you for helping me get to the place where I am happy to be in a picture!
I got a new dress and new clothing because I went down a size and I’m so excited to wear it iy”H…I’m feeling so good that I bH got into a much better shape and lost some weight for this event!!! And my next goal is to be even more energetic and skinny for my brother's wedding iyH which is in about 4 months! So I’m keeping myself motivated here!
I like the “5 minute rule” so even if I don’t get the whole workout done I get a part of it! I feel great after doing the workouts and I definitely need lots of energy these days!
Hi Esther! My brother got married last Thurs was so hectic those few weeks before barley had a chance to check in here! But I havta tell you how many compliments I got on how skinny I am!!! I'll try to send a pic…. Another thing I'd like to tell u is I think It's 6 month now that I joined smf! I loved it and learned so much from you and e/o on this amazing group and all healthy lifestyle changes I made cuz of this amazing smf!
One of the best things I learnt on this program is that when I eat more protein, I am less tempted to eat junk food. Thank you!
My weight is down…I was 129 this morning (I haven't been in the120s for a few years now!). But I know that weight is not the goal - strength is the goal. Looking forward to getting back into the workouts!
@everyone Hi everyone! I was at a gown fitting this week and the seamstress said ‘you have such a tiny waist!’ I’m not sure anyone has ever said that to me before! I really do feel great in my gown! Iy’H my daughters chasunah is on Sunday!!!
2 weeks ago I went out on shabbos and my shabbos coat didnt really fit. This past shabbos I had a simcha and my shabbos coat looked really great on and fit!I went out with my Sister and our daughters to a home goods store. My Sister bought a full size heavy wall mirror. She and her daughter were shlepping it and huffing and puffing. Resting after every few steps. At one point I wanted to help them but I Just picked up the mirror and carroed it out to the car like nothing. Wasnt even heavy. 🏋️🏋️🏋️
Huge win for me. I just came back from the Doctor. My cholesterol and Blood Pressure both were EXCELLENT and went down!!!! Baruch Hashem!! Ive been eating so healthy and really feel like ive been putting in my Hishtadlus.
We have to thank H’shem that we know better so let’s think positive. Well I have something VERY positive to share, My sister married off her daughter last night. I went to my closet and decided I am NOT going to where the dress I wear to every simcha. I want to try on a dress I haven’t worn for awhile, for obvious reasons. I never get rid of any of my dresses. I end up wearing them eventually. So I am searching through and decided I would try on a dress I hadn’t worn in about 3 years. GUESS WHAT! It fit and was even loose! WOOHOO!!!!
Just getting started! I love changes on my face went down 1.5 sizes so far!!
Just watched the recording, amazing! I love the mental part of it. U really nailed it. U reminded me of 5 years ago of myself when I was after a baby and desperate to lose weight because I was so overweight and not happy w my looks that I signed onto a program and lost about 20 lbs, and the people around me kept telling me how good I looked and how much weight I lost but I didn’t feel it. I still wasn’t happy. I felt pressured and restricted and eventually gave it up. Now (in the end of my 9th month) I’m more focused on my energy and the good feeling I get about it that my size doesn’t really matter. Maybe I’ll talk differently after the baby, but for now I’m content and confident that I’m doing my best and feeling my best under my circumstances. I take my mental health before my physical but it really goes hand in hand. The zoom meetings mean a lot to me. It encourages me, it empowers me and reminds me that hashem put me in the right place at the right time. May u continue to do what u r doing in helping build strong yidish mamas.
PP Started the day off with a workout and for a long time I don't remember having this much energy at patience with the kids at bedtime!
HELLO I WALKED INTO A STORE TO BUY A NEW FLOWERY SUMMER DRESS BECAUSE MY OLD ONE IS HUGE--THE SALES LADY ASKED ME WHAT SIZE ARE YOU--SMALL!!!??? AT FIRST I SAID NO, MEDIUM BUT THEN I FIT INTO THE SIZE SMALL DRESSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - YES, YES, YES, and YES!!!!
(She started out size XXL - hungry tired - tried every diet on the planet that did not work for her- Now she has SOO much energy!)
Well, we all know that Hashem is completely in charge of our health. But we have to put in our best effort. This is the most updated scientifically and medically proven method to achieve sustainable long term weight loss while bursting with energy and eating a lot of food. It has worked on thousands upon thousands of people who trusted the process and followed through.
Every person is different. It depends on your starting weight, and if you've damaged your metabolism through a chronic dieting history. But let me tell you: this is the SHORTEST route to achieve long term weight loss. It will initially take longer than the traditional process of lowering your calorie intake and doing loads of cardio, but this method is sustainable and will last for the rest of your life B'ezras Hashem. Whereas the "dieting" method has a 97% fail rate of the weight coming right back plus more.
No. Protein Fats and Starches are all essential, and we do not cut out any of them. There is a focus on protein to accelerate your muscle building, but you will be eating all of the food groups.
Yes! We encourage the 80/20 rule. Which means 80% of the food you eat should be good healthy food (we'll guide you what to eat), and 20% can be anything you like (pizza, chocolate, cookies, etc.)
Ironically, research shows that it’s actually one of the safest kinds of exercise you can do…when it’s done properly. And it brings a LONG list of health benefits. (We will discuss this in the course at length).
NOPE, impossible. You don't have as much testosterone as a man. It's almost impossible for a women to bulk up, UNLESS she is lifting heavily and consistently for about 10 year straight (YOU WILL KNOW WHEN TO STOP when you get there), or unless she take drugs to look that way. What will happen is that you will get leaner WAY BEYOND what you'd expect for your weight. You can be the same weight and go down 4 sizes, like in the picture here.

If you sign up to a gym with barbell equipment, most of the items will not be necessary to purchase. If you prefer setting up a home gym - we will guide you as to what equipment to purchase. The space needed for the equipment is a square about 8 feet by 4 feet. It’s possible to purchase a starting package for around $250, but the rest of the items will be more expensive later on. If you'd like to purchase everything upfront (to save money in the end): the total price for all required items is around $500-$600.
Yes. The Frum Ladies Lift Mini Course is backed by a 30-day guarantee. If you don’t feel the course was worth at least 10X what you invested, simply email my customer support team any time in the next 30 days and get a refund.
I guarantee this is the best effort you can do to achieve your long term fitness goals. The actual outcome is completely in the hands of Hashem, and is dependent on many factors, most importantly your ability to trust the process and stay consistent.
Step 1: Go to portal.shinemamafit.com
Step 2: Click on the blue "Sign Up" (next to "New User?", on the bottom left side)
Step 3: Enter your email and create a new password
Make sure to use the same email you used when purchasing your course (on the checkout page)
You will then be taken to your course
The journey to reach your goals is a process which takes time.
We like to call it the shortcut to long-term results.
You will need to trust the process.
The process requires:
1] Being consistent with progressive overload [consistently increasing weight (a little at a time) in the resistance training],
2] Restoring your metabolism by eating a LOT of good food (2500/3000 calories).
3] And only after your metabolism is restored and at a safe point: will there be temporary shallow dips
in the daily calorie intake in order for any body fat to snowball away.
And then calories will be raised back again to maintenance in order to reregulate your metabolism.
This process, although slower in the beginning, will B’ezras Hashem provide sustainable lasting results, allowing you to build muscle and shed body fat during short temporary “deficits/cuts”.
Depending on the clients dieting history, the initial process of healing the metabolism might even result in temporary weight gain.
Sometimes, in extreme cases, even as much as 30 pounds, if the metabolism has been seriously damaged due to a harsh dieting history (happens in about 2 out of 100 clients).
You must understand that this is NORMAL, and is a necessary step in the healing process.
It actually is amazing progress [and not the opposite], as it will allow you to now build muscle and restore your metabolism. (If you’re not eating enough, you cannot build muscle).
So that you’ll have the ability to shed the body fat you want to lose sustainably during your temporary calorie “cuts” later on.
Doing it the wrong way [the way most uneducated people do] by eating too little and exercising too much, although the first time around will result in faster weight loss, but this process in the long run will 97% of the time result in regaining back all the weight plus more.
As it will reck the metabolism, get rid of a lot of muscle, and is unsustainable long term.
As she would need to keep dropping her calorie intake and keep increasing her movement in order to lose more weight
And the weight being lost is half muscle and half body fat, digging her into a bigger hole than she was in in the first place.
And the weight loss will soon come to a halt, and all the weight will be regained when she goes back to her previous eating habits
As eating so little and moving so much is unsustainable (and can cause many health issues C”V, long term).
Therefore: Losing weight doing it the wrong way is not called achieving “results”, but rather the opposite.
“Results” means achieving the next step towards your LONG TERM sustainable fitness goals.
